			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you looking to build muscle mass? Are you having a hard time? Well, it really isn't that hard to do, but you need to get a plan and put that plan into action. Let me start off by making it clear - there is no "one size fits all" way to build muscle mass, but there is a general template that you can use and adjust for yourself to make it work. It always amuses me that there are those that think their way is the best way for everyone when it is clear that due to different body types, metabolism and other genetic factors that people will react to a "program" differently.</p>
<p>There are a lot of tweaks that can be done to people's programs that will make a huge difference in their gains.  Often times it comes down to a slight change in grip or stance and you should always look to make these subtle adjustments, but I will give you one easily implementable tip that you can start right away.</p>
<p>So what's the tip already?  It probably is no secret to you that you need to focus on progressively increasing the weight used in your training.  No secret there, but can you tell me right now what you were bench pressing last month - how much, how many times, etc, and what you did last week?  You probably can guess, but unless you are writing down your results and tracking them, how do you know that you are really progressing?  You probably will say that you can lift more - that's great, but you could lift even more if you knew what you did last and did all you could to exceed that last effort - this will truly result in progressive resistance.</p>
<p>What you need to focus on is reaction to stimulus. Yes, you need to scientifically study your own muscles reaction to the weight resistance training that you are engaging in. Don't worry, it sounds complicated, but it's not. So here's the deal - put together in writing a weight lifting routine - anything that you are comfortable with. I am not giving you the routine as not everyone will be able to work out the same number of days or like the same exercises, but just put one together that is challenging and different from the one you are doing now.</p>
<p>No secret routine here, no magic workout that is going to pack on 10 pounds of muscle mass in two weeks.  Instead, I am going to give you basic no-fail advice.  Start lifting heavier weights at lower reps till failure.  In fact, you should pyramid up something like 6 reps, 3 reps, 1 rep all to failure.  You are giving yourself progressive resistance.  Next step is key - track you progress.  If you are not progressing, change up the routine and try something different - it is that simple - plan, track progress, adjust as needed.  If you don't track, you are not living up to your potential.</p>
<p>The heavy progressive weight method will work for most people to build muscle fast and see nice gains in mass, but like I said, if you are tracking and it isn't working for you, change it up.  Make sure that you give each workout a solid 4-6 weeks to see progress.  In fact, so that your body does not stop gaining, you should change your routine every 4-6 weeks anyway.  However, if you find a very effective routine, switch in and out of it every other time you make a routine change until it doesn't work for you anymore. </p>
<p>If you haven't figured out what I have been trying to get across, it is that you need to track progress and make change as necessary. When I say change though - I mean big changes. Change the exercises, change the reps, change the pace of your reps, and change your rest periods.  If you are having a hard time gaining, make a game plan, track progress, and make changes when things aren't working. If you do this, get lots of good quality protein, good clean carbs, and lots of sleep, I can almost guarantee that you will build muscle mass.</p>

<p>The average lifter goes to the gym, lifts, and then goes home.  They can only hope to see growth.  People who are a little smarter enter the gym with a few muscles in mind or drink a shake after. </p>

<p>5. Long Enough For You To See Results</p>
<p>It takes time to see significant growth in your muscles.  A four week magazine workout just won't cut it.  When did you ever sign up for a personal trainer for 4 weeks?  A good program will guide you for months.  As you learn more about your body, you'll be able to create your own when it's finished.    </p>

<p>What are the keys to building muscle and keeping it on?</p>
<p>1. Work complementary muscles with consecutive supersets.</p>
<p>Making your workouts short and intense is the best way to get results. When trying to build muscle, your body responds better to challenging bursts of strenuous activity, not long exercise sessions.</p>
<p>The most effective way to do this is to superset. Supersetting is when you do two exercises, one right after another, with no rest in between.</p>
<p>You work two muscle groups consecutively with very short rest periods in between sets. This way, you work more muscle and you reduce the risk of injury because the strain on your tendons and joints is less intense.</p>

<p>Many beginners start out strong and hit the gym every time there is an opening in their schedules. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you're someone that goes to the gym every day, you're going to know exactly what I'm talking about. How many people do you see doing push-ups in the gym? Well, usually none. Guys are always doing bench-press or using some sort of machine to build the chest. It's almost the same with pull-ups, but not as extreme. You will occasionally see a few guys busting out some wide grip pull-ups, but again, it's pretty rare. So what the heck has happened to these traditional exercises to develop the chest and back? People believe they aren't as effective, but I'm here to say otherwise!</p>
<p>First, though, I have to go back in time to when I was playing college baseball. I was one of those guys who went to the gym every day, and relied solely on bench press exercises and machines to build the chest and back muscles. However, after a while I noticed that I hit a plateau, and couldn't get any more definition in my chest or back, but I was stubborn and continued to do the same old routine. It wasn't until I graduated college and got a desk job when I realized that I really wanted to find something that would get me into the best shape possible and get me ripped. That was when I started a basic boot camp a program that relies mostly on push-ups and pull-ups to develop the chest and back muscle groups. However, before I began the program I was a skeptic. How in the world could it be possible to get a ripped chest and back from push-ups or pull-ups? I mean, you're kidding right? Nope.</p>
<p>I was one of those guys who would maybe do 1 set of pull-ups every two months. So what did I do to develop my back? Well, I would do lawn mowers, but never really got anything out of them because I wasn't trained properly on how to use correct form. I would also use the lat-pull-down machine, but that only got me so far. Really, I have never had definition in my back until I changed my approach to back development.</p>
<p>Pull-ups are amazing as an exercise to develop the back. In fact, with the program I follow you are doing 2 days of the week pull-up training. And these aren't regular pull-ups. Sure, there are some that people are familiar with, but many of them are super unique, each developing a certain muscle in the back. As much as I hated doing the pull-ups, I knew it was what I needed to do in order to reach my goal of a ripped back. The first workout was tough for me, and I could only get a max of 8 reps for each exercise during the first half. What about the second half? Ha, forget it. I could only do maybe 1 or 2 reps for each exercise. As each week passed, I noticed that my back got stronger and stronger, until I reached the point where I was busting out 15-20 reps for each exercise!</p>
<p>Then there are the push-ups. Oh boy, that first workout, Chest ... Back, nearly put an end to me! It involves doing nothing but non-stop push-ups and pull-ups for about 45 minutes. After I got through the half-way mark, I seriously thought I was going to pass out. My arms felt like jello from doing all those push-ups, and I could only do 2-3 push-ups for each remaining exercise. After a few weeks of doing that workout, I was already seeing changes in my chest that I have never noticed before! At the end of my 90 days, my chest was more developed than it has ever been.</p>

Having a good diet is very essential, of course, and you have to eat as many of the right foods as you can. However, it still may be that you're not getting enough to support you. Because of that, you may want to take certain supplements to help you in building muscles fast, so that you can reach your goals.</p>
<p>Ideally, you should eat five or six meals a day and make sure you get enough calories so that your metabolism both gets and stays high. For most of these meals, you'll want to take in real food, but you can also add in two or three meal replacement shakes so that you can be more assured of fast muscle building.</p>

The whey protein you get should have under 100 mg of sodium per serving, and be low in carbs, at under 5 g a serving.</p>
<p>It's also important to take multivitamins, especially if you want to build muscles fast. You should have higher levels of vitamin C, at least 500 mg, and high levels of vitamin E, at least 400 mg. You're putting your body through a lot of stress as you do your workouts, so you'll need higher amounts of these nutrients than other people do.</p>
<p>Creatine is another supplement that can help give you energy, both to build muscle and nerve cells. There are lots of places you can buy creatine supplements, but make sure you buy from companies with a good reputation. Unflavored creatine is best, since it doesn't contain dextrose and you won't be paying for dextrose, so it will be cheaper for you. Use it with protein powders after your workout instead of before. Take grape juice or some other high carbohydrate but healthy drink along with your creatine.</p>
<p>Glutamine is also another great supplement to take if you want to build muscles fast. It has 60% of the amino acids your body uses. It helps with protein metabolism and is needed for development of your muscles. After your workout you have used about 50% of your glutamine stores and your body will take it from the muscles to replenish it.</p>

<p>If you spend any amount of time on the internet, chances are you have been bombarded with millions of supposed "great tips" to build muscle quick. The issue is that many of these tips don't work when you try to implement them. If you follow the advice in this article, you will build muscle quickly, and you can do it with much less effort.</p>
<p>With 3 easy steps, you can build lean muscle mass without committing hours to the gym.</p>
<p>1. Increase Your Intensity</p>
<p>No matter what kind of workout program you follow, you can definitely benefit from increasing your intensity. So many people go to the gym and hope that just going through the motions of lifting a little bit of weight will get them the muscle tone they desire. This, of course, isn't true. If you want your body to change and build lean sexy muscle, you need to step it up a bit. This means increasing the intensity of the workout. Whether you do this by increasing the weight you lift, or doing more reps, or both, you have to step it up a notch if you want to build the body of your dreams. <p>It's time. You've been sitting by the sidelines long enough, now it's time to get that physique you've always wanted. One of the best tools to reach your goal is an effective weight training program that will work best for your body. <p>The two main methods in weight training are the high intensity and the periodization. High intensity trainings are extremely intense workout sessions that are relatively short. This will require you to push your body's maximum tolerance every time. Periodization on the other hand takes longer as light, medium then heavy training each lasts around 3 weeks each for each phase. The concentration of periodization is the collective gain for each individual as opposed to per session tallying of 'points'.</p>
<p>Nowadays, most people use both philosophies by getting parts of each that works best for them personally. What you need to remember is that sooner or later your body comes to a plateau wherein it becomes accustomed to the drills you are inflicting on it. When this happens, training will cease to be as effective as it once was. To avoid this, vary your exercise drills and weight loads every so often. Push yourself constantly to new levels and see the progress in your physique.</p>
<p>Aside from weight training, the two other factors you need to concentrate on are rest and nutrition. Now I know they are an unassuming pair and more often than not, new and overzealous trainers put them at the bottom of their priority list. However, you cannot expect the best results without giving proper attention to them. For instance, when you train and put tears in your muscles-- rest is what repairs and builds up the tissues to be the bigger and stronger than before. If you train 4 times a week, getting good sleep the rest of the days will benefit you.</p>
<p>The best muscle building food are meals that are rich in carbohydrates and protein. Examples of these would be chicken, fish, eggs, nuts, etc. As much as possible, do not pig out on high fat content food to fill your calorie needs. If you prefer, consume protein shakes and muscle building supplements to add to your nutrient requirements for the day.</p>
<p>Before you start your training, always make it a point to warm up and stretch thoroughly. Doing so prepares your body for the upcoming physical strain and furthermore enhances your performance. Stretching increases the body's temperature as well as flexibility and blood flow to vital organs in your body. Stretch before, during and after workout sessions.</p>
<p>When you are building muscle and bulking up, aerobic training that serve to burn calories should be limited to a couple of hours a week. However, this is not to mean to take this away from your regimen altogether. Cardiovascular workouts are essential for your heart's health. As you near your ideal weight, increase the frequency and minutes of aerobic training for maintenance.</p>
<p>A perfect weight training program is the holy grail of all bodybuilders and professional trainers alike- much desired but few take the effort to see it through. And while mistakes may litter the path to the amazing physique of your dreams, with determination and persistence it will not fail to come.</p>
